We all know that Aadhar is introduced by the Central Government of India and It is mandatory for everyone including the new born child in our country. It is also mandatory to get eligible for Central and state government welfare programs. It is one of the valid KYC proofs which can be used for opening a bank account and other investment schemes.
Nowadays, Banks and other institutions are getting digital signature from their customer using Aadhar card only. Hence, we need to have an Aadhar number with us for all times with correct details. Initially, when the Aadhar was issued, there were many mistakes in name, address, DOB and also in photo.
Currently the UIDAI system provides the facility to change the Aadhaar details if there are any discrepancies in the profile. You can update your demographic details such as name, address, date of birth/age, gender, mobile number and email address through online. For that you have to visit Aadhaar Enrolment center to update biometric information such as iris, finger prints and facial photograph.
